Meat Processing Services was established in 2006 by Harry Schulz – a self-confessed 'slaughtologist' with over 30 years experience in the meat processing industry, having risen from the hands-on experience of undertaking every task on the meat processing floor, through to Production Manager and General Manager for meat processing facilities in Australia. Harry spent time as an Industry Specialist through to Manager of Equipment Sales for Austalian Meat Technology (AMT) and Managing Director of SFK Australia - meat processing equipment development and sales.
Harry is now an exceptionally experienced consultant to
the meat processing industry in Australia, New Zealand and around
the world, through his company Meat
Processing Services Pty Ltd.

"My time in the meat industry began some 30 years ago on slaughter floors, where I became competent in all related hands-on duties. I progressed to hold positions as Foreman, Quality Assurance and Training Manager, Slaughter Floor Manager, Production Manager and General Manager during my time in processing facilities.
In 1994, I commenced employment with Australian Meat Technology (AMT) as an Industry Specialist, and by the time Australian Meat Technology ceased, I was Manager of Equipment Sales.
I was Managing Director of SFK Australia, a subsidiary of the Danish company SFK Systems A/S for 8 years. In 2006, SFK experienced commercial change, and as a result closed it’s Australian Subsidiary. When this happened, I started my own company, Meat Processing Services.
I am still available to do consultancy work and offer my experience and knowledge to companies that may require it."
